He attained the rank of Colonel and flew different military aircraft as flight instructor, transport pilot and search and rescue pilot. He also graduated from the United States Air Force Air Command and Staff College at the Air University in Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. He had graduate studies at the prestigious Asian Institute of Management in it's Master in Management program.
